Guest Room Transformation
An impersonal and forgotten room was transformed into a cosy and inviting guest retreat, with upcycled furniture, soft colours, and soulful touches
We were invited into an overlooked corner of the home – a room without function or personality, yet full of hidden potential.
Our process began with listening: to the space, the atmosphere of the home, and the client’s wishes. We reviewed existing furniture and objects, carefully selecting what could be woven into a new, harmonious expression.
With a custom moodboard and curated colour palette, we brought warmth, calm, and character to the room.
It was gently transformed using the client’s own treasures, sustainable elements, and creative solutions – always with honesty and heart.
The door was painted, the old handles delicately cleaned to preserve their patina, and a retro atelier chair was upcycled in a soft, matching tone. Two vintage chairs were repurposed into poetic bedside tables, visually extending the headboard and bringing balance to the room.
A meaningful heirloom – a curtain from the client’s mother – was hung in front of the built-in wardrobe, adding warmth, texture, and a personal story.
The space was then styled with care using light, colour, and tactile details that bring it fully to life.
The result: a calm and soulful guest room – filled with intention, personality, and warmth. The full transformation is documented in before-and-after photos.
